Dr Shaiesta Shah

Dr. Shaiesta Shah is presently working as Assistant Professor of Botany at Central University of Kashmir, Jammu and Kashmir-India. She has completed her M.Sc and Ph.D in Botany from Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University, Aurangabad, Maharashtra. Dr. Shaiesta had worked as Lecturer in Govt. Institute of Science (P.G college), Aurangabad, Maharashtra. Dr. Shah had also worked as Lecturer of Botany in Higher Education in Jammu and Kashmir. Dr. Shah has 7 years of teaching and 5 years of research experience. She had worked as Research Associate in Mushroom Research and Training centre, Division of Plant Pathology, SKAUST-K. She has published more than 15 research papers in National and International journals. Dr. Shah has attended 12 national and international conferences across the country and has presented papers on Integrated management of Fungal diseases of Mushrooms. She has many awards to her credit. Her main area of research interest focuses on Plant pathology, Mycology, Bacteriology and Microbial Ecology.
